Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Product Owner for the Global Bank Data Hub (GBDH) to drive backlog management and cross-functional collaboration across platform teams in an Agile setting. You will prioritize work in JIRA, align with business objectives, and ensure scalable, secure technology solutions for unified banking platforms and data products.

The role emphasizes governance, data management, and effective communication across geographically distributed teams, focusing on delivering value

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with JIRA and backlog management.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and platform technology teams.
• Some experience or interest in data management, analytics, and cloud technologies (DBx, Snowflake, Starburst).
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management concepts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Awareness of handling confidential and restricted data elements inline with business and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prioritize the GBDH product backlog in JIRA, ensuring alignment with business needs, control standards, and platform objectives.
• Partner with platform technology teams to define requirements, clarify user stories, and support delivery of scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
• Participate in Sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies to support timely and effective delivery.
• Monitor team capacity and adjust Sprint scope as needed.
• Assist with UAT deliverables and implementation checklists to document changes.
• Help identify production bugs and coordinate with stakeholders and technology for resolution.
• Support the creation and distribution of reports on Change Management metrics and KPIs.
• Provide updates on impacts and deliverables to geographically diverse teams.
• Guide platform technology teams towards business objectives: Unified Global Banking Platform, Data Products, Single Version of Truth, Purpose Enabled Capabilities, Streamlined Data Federation, Integrated Data Management.
