Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies, seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to lead aviation logistics for INL/A Aviation Program across CONUS/OCONUS locations. You will oversee supply chain, inventory, warehousing, and property management for a complex aircraft fleet under dynamic conditions.

The role emphasizes compliance with export controls, HAZMAT, and government regulations while coordinating with maintenance, operations, and program management to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Extensive aviation logistics leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of export control (ITAR/EAR) and HAZMAT.
• Experience managing global aviation supply chains.
• Ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aviation Logistics Services including sourcing, procurement, and inventory control.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and logistics support plans.
• Direct stock control, demand planning, and inventory accuracy.
• Manage warehouse operations, including hazmat compliance and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with import/export, HAZMAT, and customs requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and program mgmt for logistics support.
• Oversee ground support logistics, fuel management, and vehicle ops.
• Ensure timely logistics reports and data submissions across platforms.
• Lead contingency planning, surge operations, and rapid deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and increase readiness.
