Job summary

AV Hiring USA is seeking an experienced AV Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and service professional AV systems across client environments, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands‑on technical expertise, travel up to 75% including international assignments, and the ability to work independently or with teams on cruise, entertainment and commercial settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in audiovisual installation, service, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and related technical docs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and deploy AV equipment including projectors, microphones, speakers and control interfaces.
• Perform site assessments, rigging, wiring, calibration and testing per project specs.
• Provide onsite and remote diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support installations and service activities.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports for each engagement.
• Travel as required to client sites, cruise and entertainment venues.
