Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a seasoned program manager to lead cross-functional efforts across engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to meet launch targets.

You will manage PSO readiness, schedules, and open issues, coordinating with global product development locations and suppliers. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 6+ years of experience, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support launches

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or adjacent discipline.
• 5 years applicable experience in Engineering, Sales or related field
• 6+ years of experience preferred
• Domestic and international travel required between branches, customer and manufacturing sites
• Ability to work extended hours to support launches and stakeholder meetings across time zones

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Launch Readiness / PSO and ensure GPMS compliance.
• Lead customer communications and manage critical issues with cross‑functional teams.
• Define program scope changes and report progress to executive management.
• Plan and track program schedules to meet scope and customer requirements.
• Prepare regular program status reports for executives.
• Lead meeting minutes and drive open issues to resolution.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Requests and communicate changes with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate program risks with the team.
