Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an Application Engineer to act as the primary technical contact for automotive customers in the Chaussis and Comfort Systems sector. You will lead technical discussions with global engineering, project management, quality and manufacturing teams, and promote new technology.

The role requires a technical or engineering degree and at least five years of professional experience in product development, application engineering or technical project management.

Qualifications

• Technical or engineering degree preferred.
• At least five years of professional experience in product development, application engineering or technical project management.
• Experience with requirements management, change management, task management and technical problem resolution.
• Strong understanding of product development and technical customer projects.
• Experience working in an international or global organization.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive and able to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Business-fluent Chinese would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for automotive customers
• Lead technical discussions and coordinate activities with global engineering, project management, quality and manufacturing teams
• Support new technology promotion, customer acquisitions and design-win activities
• Manage customer requirements, technical changes and problem-resolution processes
• Define and track quality, design and cost targets for new and ongoing projects
• Coordinate regular customer meetings and maintain action lists, meeting minutes and project documentation
• Present project status, technical concepts and proposed solutions to customers and internal stakeholders
• Support product benchmarking, market analysis and new market development
• Identify potential project risks and initiate appropriate escalation measures
• Support customer visits to sales offices, development centers and manufacturing facilities
