Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a role in Peoria, IL to support product regulatory compliance programs across design, validation, and production. You will work with engineering and operations to identify and manage compliance risk using established processes and tools.

You will collaborate with product groups to ensure products are developed and produced to meet regulatory requirements, apply engineering methods to hardware design, and drive improvements in compliance workflows and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science required.
• Data gathering and analysis involves collecting, documenting, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
• Risk management: identify and mitigate business and compliance risks using established tools.
• Collaborating across functions, regions, and levels to align on goals.
• Decision making and critical thinking: organize data, weigh options, and support leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on product regulatory requirements and apply them to Caterpillar products.
• Use processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information for product certification and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools for regulatory compliance.
• Partner with product groups and design control to ensure compliance in development and production.
