CEVA Freight LLC in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Global Architecture Expert

YOUR ROLE

Support compliance with the usage of operational systems and their respective enhancements.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1. Work within an agile team of engineers and operations personnel to build highly resilient, scalable, and performant platforms in an on-premises cloud infrastructure in an automated and efficient manner.
2. Build foundational systems and reliable platform solutions in on-premises cloud infrastructure.
3. Bridge the gap between software and hardware.
4. Enable application developers to deploy software more easily to users.
5. Be part of the core platform engineering team and be accountable for mission-critical platforms assigned to you.
6. Supervise a team of platform engineers.
7. Develop deep expertise in a technical area and grow as a subject matter expert.
8. Provide expert-level guidance and support to troubleshoot issues on a rotational basis.
9. Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g., monitoring, logging).
10. Ensure compliance with centrally defined security standards.
11. Implement upgrades and patches as required.
12. Build and improve solutions to enable automated application deployments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Cloud Administrator, VMWare Administrator, or Platform Engineer managing enterprise platforms, including three (3) years in the global supply chain/logistics industry.
• Must pass a technical interview.
• Must have application req 537463.
