Job summary

MAHLE is seeking an Applications Engineer to support the product development process for assigned customers and products. You will represent MAHLE in technical settings, manage customer communications, and coordinate budgets and milestones across MAHLE’s global network.

You will nurture relationships, stay current with MAHLE product technology, and travel as needed to meet project goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple account/customer relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of contract negotiations and product development.
• Good automotive technical knowledge including powertrains and testing.
• Familiarity with OEM development systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product development projects from the design phase into production and manage related customer communications.
• Plan, prepare, and conduct customer visits, lead technical meetings, and travel domestically and internationally.
• Support budgets for projects, monitor deviations, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of MAHLE technologies and trends to support customer programs and plant productivity.
