SanMar is seeking a Sr Product Development Manager to lead multi-category product development from concept to production. You will drive strategy, manage vendor relationships, and ensure on-time delivery across a global supply base.

This role requires frequent international travel and close collaboration with design, sourcing, and technical teams. You will oversee fabric and trim development, manage color, test samples, and maintain margins while pursuing responsible sourcing and quality across

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in product development and production management.
• Deep understanding of garment manufacturing and vendor compliance.
• Forecasting, buy planning, factory loading, and capacity planning knowledge.
• Strong communication and global collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development strategy from design, materials, and trim concepts into a manufacturable finished product.
• Manage vendor relationships; negotiate prices and resolve issues.
• Drive cost savings and maintain margins for responsible brands and categories.
• Lead exploration of technologies and materials to add value to SanMar.
• Research trends by engaging suppliers and factories to present ideas.
• Travel domestically and internationally on a frequent basis.
• Develop fabrics and trims with suppliers; oversee color development and lab dips.
• Collaborate with Sourcing to establish new business relationships and evaluate suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on seasonal development and new products.
