Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Maintenance Control Director to oversee aircraft maintenance documentation, inspections planning, and mission readiness, coordinating with NAVY requirements and 3M/NALCOMIS systems to ensure on-time flight capability.

The role demands extensive navy maintenance experience, supervisory leadership, DoD clearance, and the ability to train staff; the salary range is $130,000-$140,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in engineering, business, logistics, management, math, sciences, or professional aeronautics with 4+ years Navy requirements experience; or AA/AS with 6+ years Navy requirements; or high school with 10 years Navy requirements.
• Fifteen years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 10 years in a supervisory role handling workloads and shifts.
• Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• At least six years in a maintenance control position.
• Strong written communication with clear, technical accuracy.
• Knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, manuals, and procedures.
• Familiarity with Navy/USAF/USMC logistics support procedures.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Honorable discharge from military service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain aircraft maintenance documents and schedules.
• Coordinate inspections (special, conditional, phase) and dispatch tasks to work centers.
• Brief pilots and support documenting flight time and maintenance discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with NAVAIRINST 3710.1 and CNAFINST 4790.2 as applicable.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports supporting long-range maintenance requirements.
