Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking an Agency Securities Lending Trader to optimize client portfolios through securities lending, collateral management and risk controls. You will work with specialists across Investor Services to drive liquidity and performance for institutional clients.

The role requires deep knowledge of securities lending, Bloomberg, Excel modelling, and programming with SQL, Python, or Qlikview. A Bachelor’s degree is required, CFA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of Securities Lending, Prime Finance, or Delta One trading experience.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and MS Excel modelling.
• Experience with SQL, QlikView, and Python for data analysis.
• Ability to multitask and articulate securities finance concepts to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers to optimize client portfolios.
• Adhere to risk & control guidelines related to counterparty limits and best execution.
• Identify trading opportunities via special situations and corporate actions.
• Collaborate with global teams to build and present portfolio models for clients.
• Prepare market commentary and management reporting.
