A dynamic firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to architect its global accounting infrastructure in NYC. This role requires a hands-on leader adept at optimizing core accounting functions, implementing scalable financial systems, and providing technical expertise in GAAP. Ideal candidates will have 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, be CPA certified, and possess strong knowledge of modern accounting tools, ideally in a startup environment. This opportunity offers a competitive salary between $160,000-200,000.

Qualifications

• 6‑8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in SaaS/Tech.
• Experience with Big Four public accounting firms is highly desired.
• Ability to draft technical memos for complex accounting issues.

Responsabilités

• Manage the month‑end close, journal entries, and full‑cycle financial statements.
• Design and implement scalable financial systems and internal controls.
• Modernize Procure‑to‑Pay processes and optimize vendor onboarding.
• Collaborate with Finance and Ops teams for data-driven insights.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on technical accounting standards.
