Job summary

Alerion Aviation seeks an experienced pilot to join our Orlando base as Captain on Global 5000 missions under Part 135/91. You will lead flights with strict adherence to safety and service standards, delivering a premium travel experience.

Candidates must have unrestricted ATP, 4,000+ total hours, and substantial PIC/multi-engine experience, plus current FAA First Class Medical. International travel capability and valid U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate (unrestricted) required.
• Total time 4,000+ hours with PIC and multi-engine experience.
• Instrument time 300+ hours; current FAA First Class Medical.

Job description

What you’ll do

• Serve as Pilot in Command on Global 5000 missions under Part 135/91.
• Execute flights in full compliance with Alerion Aviation policies, FAA regulations, and the highest safety standards.
• Deliver a polished, service-focused experience to passengers while maintaining exceptional airmanship and operational discipline.

Minimum qualifications

• ATP certificate (unrestricted).
• 4,000 hours total time.
• 3,000 hours PIC (all aircraft).
• 3,000 hours multi-engine; 2,000 hours multi-engine PIC.
• 300 hours instrument time.
• Current and valid FAA First Class Medical.

Compliance & eligibility

• Valid passport with ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the past 5 years.
• Live within a two-hour driving radius of Orlando Executive Airport (ORL).
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
• Pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check in compliance with TSA Security Program Standards and 49 CFR 1544.229 and 49 CFR 1544.230.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred experience

• Type rating on the Global 5000 or comparable large-cabin aircraft.
• Strong international flying experience.
