Job description

Job Title: Glazier Installer

Join our team as a Glazier Installer at Apollo Glass & Mirror, part of Installed Building Products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set glass windows and doors into frames, securing hardware such as hinges, locks, and handles using levels.
  • Install pre-assembled frameworks for doors and windows before glass installation, utilizing hand tools.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine work details including glass type, size, and installation procedures.
  • Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding or staging as needed.
  • Transport tools and materials to job sites, lift and position glass panels using suction cups or cranes.
  • Apply glazing compounds between glass and frames, trim excess material, and secure panels with appropriate fasteners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of construction-related experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Experience in construction is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and requirements, with OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
Physical Demands

This role involves heavy lifting, standing, bending, reaching, climbing, working at heights, using hand tools, unloading equipment, and handling glass with precision.
