We are seeking an experienced Glazier with minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in commercial and residential glazing. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and takes pride in producing quality work. Responsibilities
- Install, replace, and repair commercial and residential glass and glazing systems.
- Install storefront systems, curtain wall, aluminum frames, doors, windows, mirrors, and related glazing products.
- Measure, cut, handle, and install glass according to project specifications.
- Perform service and repair work on doors, storefronts, windows, and glazing systems.
- Read and understand plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Properly use hand tools, power tools, lifts, ladders, and glazing equipment.
- Apply sealants, gaskets, setting blocks, and other glazing materials.
- Troubleshoot field conditions and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite and follow company and OSHA safety requirements.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, project managers, and other trades.
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Qualifications
- 5 plus years of professional glazing experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial storefront and general glass installation.
- Experience with glass replacement, aluminum framing, doors, windows, and related hardware.
- Ability to accurately measure openings and determine glass and material requirements.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and a tape measure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to safely lift and handle heavy glass and glazing materials.
