Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Glaze Line Operator on the D Shift in Sunnyvale, TX to operate the glaze line, inspect tile, and ensure quality throughout the ceramic tile manufacturing process. The role requires attention to detail, basic English, and the ability to follow procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, performing QC checks, and safely transporting glaze using powered industrial trucks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing /production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Operates the glaze line and inspects tile.
• Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
• Follows operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.
