Job description

Established, physician-owned ophthalmology practice with 45 years of success and continued growth is seeking a Glaucoma Surgeon to join their expanding team and help build a true multi-specialty practice. With only one other glaucoma specialist in the area, there is significant opportunity to quickly grow a busy glaucoma service while also maintaining a strong comprehensive practice.

The practice currently includes

• High-volume comprehensive MD seeing 45–50 patients/day
• 16 well-equipped lanes in an efficient, patient-focused office
• Dedicated technicians and scribes for physician support
• Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) EMR
• Minimal to no patient wait times

Position Highlights

• Ideal mix of approximately 50% glaucoma / 50% comprehensive ophthalmology
• No hospital call
• Flexible employment structure: W2 or 1099
• Partnership opportunity available depending on candidate interest
• Guaranteed base salary for first 2 years, then transition to 35% of collections
