Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's Department of Ophthalmology seeks a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist to join a collegial, flag- ship ophthalmology team in Pittsburgh. You will diagnose, treat, and surgically manage glaucoma, participate in teaching, and contribute to a dynamic academic environment with mentors.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
• Fellowship training in Glaucoma from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Pennsylvania Licensure in good standing prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ophthalmologic care for patients diagnosed with glaucoma, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and surgical interventions.
• Assess and monitor glaucoma progression, such as visual field testing, imaging, and tonometry.
• Contribute to teaching/educational activities.
