Job description

A solid and growing Glaucoma subspecialty practice in Amarillo, Texas seeks a highly motivated Glaucoma fellowship trained MD to join with exceptional and profitable partnership opportunity. Amarillo, the largest city in the Texas Panhandle, is the referral center for about 500,000 people from as far as New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas to provide medical and surgical glaucoma care. A new doctor will have an immediate medical caseload of new glaucoma patients a week with associated laser and surgical volume. The Glaucoma Clinic was recently remodeled with 10 fully equipped exam lanes and state of the art equipment including an Iridex SLT/YAG laser, a Zeiss OCT 6000 with forum, and 2 HVF3 machines. The staff of technicians and scribes are well trained, efficient and highly skilled in work-ups, the EHR systems and billing. Other partners in Panhandle Eye Group are high-quality, cutting edge Ophthalmologists with 4 Retina MDs, and 4 Cataract surgeons with Plastics and Refractive subspecialties. The ASC is on-site and owned by the group with staff that are well trained in Ophthalmic surgery.
