Job summary

AceStack is seeking a Glass box Engineer in Charlotte, NC, onsite, for a fulltime permanent role. The candidate will join a secure, multi-data center environment and work on Java hosting on Linux, shell scripting, and advanced monitoring tools.

Required are 5+ years of experience, strong scripting (Shell, Python, Perl), and familiarity with deployment tools like BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and AutoSys. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience with Linux system administration and Java hosting on Linux.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell Script, Python, and Perl.
• Familiarity with server certificate implementation and TLS troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Glassbox, Tealeaf, Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration.
• Java application hosting on Linux.

• Troubleshoot TLS connectivity and certificate implementations.
• Experience with deployment tools: BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, AutoSys.
• Work in a secure, multi-data center environment with firewall rule basics.
• Strong debugging and network troubleshooting skills.
• Coordinate with admins, network engineers, and end users to deliver solutions.
• Self-starting with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight.
