Job summary

You will handle hot glass, heating equipment, and precision joining of glass and metal components in a hands-on setting. The role requires understanding of glass behavior at different temperatures and close adherence to process parameters, quality checks, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in glass working or high-temperature manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
• Experience using basic measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform glass-to-metal manufacturing and assembly operations according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and established processes.
• Heat, form, seal, join, or otherwise process glass and metal components using appropriate production equipment and techniques.
• Inspect in-process and finished parts against drawings, specifications, samples, and established quality standards.
• Operate basic glass-working, heating, and assembly equipment and monitor for abnormalities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and document production data as required.
