Job summary

Southern Wholesale Glass, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a motivated production worker to join our glass fabrication team. You will cut stock sheets, wash glass, temper, seam edges, install spacers, pack insulated units, and help load trucks.

This role requires punctuality, teamwork, ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch, basic math, and the stamina to stand for long shifts in hot or cold environments. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be punctual.
• Able to communicate with team members and have a positive attitude.
• Perform simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Read, write and understand English.
• Able to stand or walk on concrete for long hours.
• Handle glass safely with PPE and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cutting stock sheets of glass.
• Washing glass.
• Tempering.
• Seaming edges.
• Installing spacers and grids.
• Packing glue into insulated units.
• Loading trucks for delivery.
