Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington in the United States (Virginia, Lexington) is seeking a Production Associate to ensure safe, quality production and meet demand. Responsibilities include assembling components for glass products, inspecting parts against specs, packing finished goods, and following SOPs.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience; preferred two years in assembly and experience with component parts.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble components for glass products.
Ensure produced parts meet customer specifications.
Pack finished product according to customer requirements.
Identify, record, and communicate any problems relating to the product or the production process.
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to problems through designated channels.
Adhere to work standardization and associated training requirements.
Follow housekeeping standards and expectations.
Assist in training other associates for cross training purposes.
Track and collect data on production and quality standards.
Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
