Job summary

Portland Glass is hiring a skilled glass installer to join our Brattleboro team. You will install and replace residential and commercial glass, read work orders and blueprints, measure, cut and fit glass, and use hand and power tools to complete high‑quality installations.

You will interact directly with customers, maintain a clean work area, follow safety procedures, and represent the Portland Glass brand with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing and replacing residential and/or commercial glass.
• Measuring, cutting, handling, and installing glass and related materials.
• Reading work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Using hand and power tools to complete quality installations.
• Interacting directly with customers in a professional manner.
• Keeping work area and company vehicle clean and organized.
• Following safety procedures and industry best practices.
