Job summary

Portland Glass is seeking an installer to perform residential and commercial glass installations. You will measure, cut, handle, and install glass while reading work orders and blueprints. Use hand and power tools and interact with customers to provide professional service.

Maintain clean work areas, follow safety practices, and uphold the Portland Glass brand at every customer interaction. A high school diploma or GED, valid license, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years carpentry or related trades preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Background check and drug screen as per company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential and/or commercial glass.
• Measure, cut, handle, and install glass and related materials.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to complete installations.
• Diagnose installation challenges and provide practical solutions.
