Job Summary
Piedmont Triad Auto Glass is seeking an experienced Auto Glass Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who has 6+ years of experience and takes pride in quality workmanship, understands the importance of safety, and values working in a well‑run, team‑oriented environment.
This Role Is Not a Fit If You
- New to auto glass or still in training
- Have not performed ADAs recalibrations independently (both dynamic and static recalibrations)
- Are not detail-oriented with quality expertise
Responsibilities
- Perform mobile windshield replacement and repair on a wide range of vehicles, including passenger vehicles, commercial fleets, and specialty vehicles
- Conduct ADAS recalibrations in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards (static and/or dynamic)
- Remove and install automotive glass, moldings, and related components safely and efficiently
- Diagnose and address installation challenges in the field and in-shop
- Communicate professionally with customers, fleet managers, and insurance partners as needed, maintaining a customer‑focused mindset
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and company vehicle
- Properly document work performed, including calibrations, inspections, and job completion
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Experience
- 6+ years of professional auto glass installation experience (windshield replacement and repair)
- Experience working with fleet accounts, commercial vehicles, and passenger vehicles
- Demonstrated experience performing ADAS recalibrations (static and/or dynamic)
- Strong knowledge of automotive glass installation techniques, tools, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently in both shop and mobile environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and handle automotive glass safely
- Professional, customer‑focused attitude when interacting with clients and fleet partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Technician
- Familiarity with insurance claims platforms and documentation requirements
- Experience with advanced calibration equipment and software
- Prior experience mentoring or assisting junior technicians
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and part of a team
