Reports to the Block Lead

Position Description

The Glass Handler position is responsible for performing glass fabrication-related handling and production duties. This person will be responsible for ensuring glass meets quality expectations before performing assembly.

The right person will possess good technical, organization, and communication skills. Most importantly, the right person will have a history of activities that align with our company values-

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all safety policies are followed, and safety culture is top priority.
  • Perform daily tasks utilizing BOS principles.
  • Assist in production while meeting quality and productivity goal metrics as set by lead.
  • Perform required audits regularly as necessary depending on work area.
  • Must be driven, possess a high sense of urgency and desire to succeed.
  • Embrace culture of continuous improvement, accountability and goal accomplishment.

  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Pay ranges between $18 to $23 based on experience and skills.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Must wear required hearing and eye protection.
  • Must be able lift up to 75 pounds individually.
