Job summary

Glass Doctor of North Texas is hiring a reliable Fabricator to prepare glass and related materials for installation teams. You will fabricate, cut, and assemble according to job specs, read measurements, and operate shop tools safely.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, the ability to work from precise measurements, and a commitment to quality. The position is full-time, in a fast-paced shop setting with rotating Saturdays, and pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour depending on

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, cut, prepare, and assemble glass and related materials according to job specifications.
• Read and follow measurements, work orders, and fabrication instructions accurately.
• Operate shop tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and defects.
• Prepare completed materials for delivery and installation.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Properly handle and store glass to minimize damage and waste.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
• Communicate with team members when measurements, materials, or job specifications appear incorrect.
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment requirements.
• Help the shop team wherever needed to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time.

Fabricator

Glass Doctor of North Texas is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Fabricator to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for fabricating and preparing glass and related materials to ensure our field teams have accurate, high-quality products ready for installation.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well in a fast-paced shop environment, and understands that quality and accuracy matter.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM until the job is complete, typically between 4:30 PM–6:00 PM

Rotating Saturdays

Pay

$18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate, cut, prepare, and assemble glass and related materials according to job specifications


• Read and follow measurements, work orders, and fabrication instructions accurately
