Job summary

Agent is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Estimator to join the pre-construction team. You will own the estimating process for mid-sized projects ($150K–$500K) and support larger bids ($2M–$5M+), working with senior leadership to enhance bidding capacity from a LATAM remote location. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of glass and glazing estimating experience on U.S.

projects, strong plan-reading skills, and fluency in English. The role requires full-time availability during U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated glass and glazing estimating experience on U.S. construction projects.
• Bloom & Beam OST or equivalent takeoff software experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural/structural plans.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Full-time availability aligned to U.S. Central Time (CT).
• Experience with hurricane-resilient systems or Gulf Coast markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for glazing and storefront systems.
• Manage end-to-end bid documentation and ensure compliance with local guidelines.
• Calculate labor projections, timelines, and swing-stage/lift requirements for high-rise projects.
• Lead vendor outreach and RFQ coordination with U.S. suppliers.
• Compile submittals and manage RFIs for smooth handoffs to operations.

Job Description

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Remote Estimator to join a seasoned pre-construction team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to augment their bidding capacity, independently owning the estimating process for mid-sized projects ($150K–$500K) while providing vital support on large-scale institutional bids exceeding $2M–$5M+. Responsibilities

• Prepare highly detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates specifically for commercial glass, glazing, and storefront systems.

• Manage end-to-end bid documentation workflows, ensuring all bid preparation requirements and local guidelines are meticulously met.

• Calculate accurate labor cost projections, project timelines, and logistical variables, including specialized assessments for high-rise work requiring swing stages and lifts.

• Lead vendor outreach and request for quotes (RFQs), building and maintaining strong coordination with major U.S. suppliers like YKK, US Aluminum/CR Lawrence, and Old Castle Building Envelope.

• Support pre-construction logistics, compile submittals, and manage RFIs to ensure a seamless handoff to operations teams.

• Utilize Bloom & Beam OST software (or similar estimating platforms) to maintain organized, data-driven pipelines.

Requirements

• Experience & Background: 2+ years of dedicated glass and glazing estimating experience on U.S. construction projects, OR a strong background in Civil Engineering with transferable structural estimating skills.

• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with estimating software—Bloom & Beam OST is highly preferred, but equivalent takeoff platforms are accepted.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural plans, evaluate labor dynamics, and handle multi-million-dollar bids.

• Communication & Alignment: Exceptional, fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) for accurate internal collaboration and vendor outreach.

• Schedule: Full-time availability strictly matching U.S. Central Time (CT) operations.

• Market Exposure: Prior experience with hurricane-resilient building systems or projects in the Gulf Coast, Caribbean, or Puerto Rico markets is a massive plus.
