Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking a manufacturing worker to perform repetitive operations producing windows, doors, and glass units. You will read work orders, use measuring tools, and help with loading and unloading, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Able to read and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience reading a tape measure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to perform tasks.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure and read measurements when required.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
