Job summary

SPS Corporation in North Carolina seeks a Glass & Panel Project Manager to lead projects in the Southeast region, coordinating panel products, glass/glazing, and curtainwall to meet schedule and budget while satisfying client requirements.

You will manage the project team, suppliers, and subcontractors, develop the Project Execution Plan, monitor risks, and ensure effective communication across all project levels; SPS supports employee ownership through ESOP and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Qualified in project management techniques or equivalent.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management.
• Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, and risk/change management.
• Proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel, Explorer, Vista, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation on a project.
• Manage client interaction and promote positive partnering.
• Coordinate scope, complexity, planning, and scheduling with client.
• Identify, mitigate and manage risks for projects.
• Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan.
• Manage the project budget development process.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
• Communicate effectively with all levels.
• Generate submittals and RFIs, and coordinate with architects and clients.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and responses.
