A well-established commercial glazing contractor in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from contract award to completion, coordinating with general contractors, architects, and owners.

The ideal candidate will oversee scheduling, procurement, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and closeout activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality installation across commercial glazing and architectural systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial glazing projects from contract award through completion.
• Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, subcontractors, and field installation teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, material procurement, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Coordinate material purchasing and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with field personnel to resolve installation and coordination issues.
• Attend project meetings and communicate regularly with customers and project stakeholders.
• Identify scope changes, project risks, and potential change-order opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with estimating during project handoff.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Manage punch lists, closeout documentation, warranties, and final completion.

The company specializes in commercial glass, glazing, and architectural systems, working with general contractors, developers, architects, and owners on a range of commercial construction projects.

The Project Manager will oversee projects from contract award through completion, managing project coordination, scheduling, procurement, budgets, documentation, and customer relationships.
