Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a General Ledger Accounting Analyst to ensure accuracy and timeliness of GL accounts, including reconciliations, while supporting the Fixed Assets group.

You will work with Infinium GL, Hyperion, and BNA systems, performing monthly and quarterly reconciliations and assisting with audits, tax transfers, and margin analyses across domestic and international ledgers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 4 years progressive accounting experience with standard concepts and procedures.
• CPA is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with business managers and resolve questions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain General Ledger accounts and reconciliations monthly/quarterly.
• Assist Fixed Assets close, BM109 disposal requests, and asset additions.
• Prepare complex audit schedules for quarterly and annual audits.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and roll forward balances monthly/quarterly.
• Assist Tax with transfer pricing entries and margin postings.
