Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform month-end and fiscal year-end closing activities for the University and DSOs.
• Review journal entries from multiple source systems and ensure timely posting.
• Research general ledger transactions and analyze account balances and variances.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve errors and discrepancies impacting financial reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with departments and key partners; provide guidance on financial processes.
• Evaluate existing financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Manage annual unclaimed property reporting with University departments and ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
