Job summary

EDGE Eyewear Inc. is seeking a GL Accountant to join our accounting team in Layton, Utah. You will contribute to the month-end close, prepare journal entries, and manage intercompany activities across multiple entities.

You will partner with finance and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, perform reconciliations, and support audits and international accounting tasks. Strong Excel and ERP experience are required, with Odoo valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with GL and month-end close.
• Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Understanding of accrual accounting and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and adjusting entries.
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity across multiple entities.
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Assist with financial reporting, audit preparation, and supporting schedules.
• Support accounting activities related to international operations, including foreign currency transactions.

Edge Eyewear is seeking a GL Accountant to join our accounting team and play a key role in the month-end close and financial reporting process. You'll work across multiple entities, with responsibility for general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and intercompany activity, while partnering closely with the accounting team and business leaders.
