Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Phoenix, AZ seeks a GIS Technician to support infrastructure mapping and spatial data management using ESRI software. You will collect, create, and maintain data and maps, and design spatial databases for critical company assets.

The role involves field data collection with Trimble GPS, data integration into GIS databases, and producing professional maps for staff and management. Prior ESRI experience and 2 years in civil engineering design or surveying are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent GIS coursework is desirable.
• Two years of experience with civil engineering design drawings and surveying.
• Two years of experience using ESRI products or other spatial analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain spatial data and attributes for the company infrastructure and assets.
• Collect digital data for GIS database integration.
• Create professional digital and hard copy maps as requested.
• Design and update spatial databases and related attributes.
• Collect field data using Trimble GPS unit.
• Operate and maintain GIS software and hardware.
• Assist in data organization and secure storage of GIS data.
