Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a GIS Technician to join our team in Atlanta, onsite. The role manages routine GIS tasks, data management and map creation, working with GIS Analysts on complex projects and contributing ideas for GIS tool enhancements.

Requirements include an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in GIS and 2–5 years of experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro/Online, plus Web Apps, Python Notebooks, and Experience Builder. Familiarity with Office 365 cloud tools is expected.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree with GIS coursework required.
2–5 years in feature/table data creation and visualization in ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online.
2–5 years developing Web Apps and Web Maps for ESRI platforms.
1–2 years building Python scripts/Notebooks in GIS environments.
Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud tools (Planner/Teams/SharePoint).

Responsibilities

Assist with data collection, editing, and quality control for ArcGIS platforms.
Develop and support web applications, Field Maps, Python Notebooks, and Experience Builder projects.
Run Python scripts for business needs including map creation and dispatch tasks.
Create maps and visual representations; keep GIS databases updated.
Troubleshoot ArcGIS Online products and assist teammates remotely.
