ReNuke Services is seeking a GIS Technician I for our client's site in Cincinnati, OH!

Description:

• Full-time, hybrid role with 3 days/week in the office

This GIS Technician position will be responsible for creating and editing GIS data from various sources in Smallworld, generating maps and reports using GIS data for internal and external customers. Strong background and demonstrated experience in GIS products preferred (e.g., Smallworld, ArcGIS, QGIS). Utility experience is also preferred. A GIS or related technical degree is preferred. Candidates should have two or more years of work experience in database entry and support, with experience in GIS highly desirable.

Qualifications:

• An associate's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of GIS principles and practices, GPS, cartography, and source data used to create maps
• Experience with GIS software such as Smallworld, ArcGIS, QGIS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Business and technical understanding of GIS applications
