Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a GIS Technician I to join a national utilities company for a hybrid position operating out of Charlotte, NC.

This position will be responsible for completing tasks including manipulating GIS data from various sources in GIS, performing QA/QC for a data improvement project in Smallworld, and preparing project data and information for GIS contributors.

Qualifications

• GIS or related technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years GIS experience preferred.
• Strong GIS background preferred.
• Experience in Smallworld and/or ESRI preferred.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint preferred.
• Experience working with GPS data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate GIS data from various sources in GIS.
• Perform QA/QC for a data improvement project in Smallworld.
• Prepare project data and information for GIS contributors.

Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a GIS Technician I to join a national utilities company for a hybrid position operating out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay: $21.50/hr - $23.50/hr

Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible

Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship; no benefits or PTO; ACA compliant medical package available for enrollment

Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC
