Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a GIS Specialist to design, implement, and maintain enterprise GIS systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and server management, alongside skills in performance tuning and troubleshooting. This role offers opportunities to work on a full GIS stack including customized software solutions and web-based applications.

Qualifications

• Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Server.
• Proficient in the full GIS stack including databases and web-based platforms.
• Ability to customize GIS applications.

Job Location: Fairfax, Virginia, United States (Onsite/Remote)

• Design, implement, maintain and support enterprise GIS systems and applications.
• Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server (including other roles such as Image Server, Business Analyst Enterprise) and/or ArcGIS Online.
• Determines requirements for new GIS systems. Performs performance tuning, troubleshooting and diagnostic operations.
• Should have experience with full enterprise GIS stack including enterprise GIS databases, desktop GIS applications, web based GIS platforms and applications (ArcGIS Online, VertiGIS Studio).
• Experience customizing and extending base software (ArcGIS Pro extensions, custom controls, etc.)
