Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional GIS experience.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Desktop.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in utilities or oil & gas environments preferred.
• Exposure to as-built design workflows or network mapping updates.
• Familiarity with gas distribution systems or infrastructure data.
• Experience with Locusview or similar GIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review project packages and as-built docs to capture new network assets and update GIS systems.
• Validate and correct gas service data where location/attribute information is inaccurate.
• Support ongoing system updates to ensure data integrity across the network.
• Perform ad hoc updates (e.g., leak documentation) as directed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution.

We are seeking a detail-oriented GIS Specialist to support ongoing network mapping and as-built design updates within a utility-focused environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of spatial data by reviewing project packages and updating gas network assets. This role will initially focus on service line work, with the opportunity to expand into broader network updates and more complex GIS responsibilities over time.

• Review project packages and as-built documentation to accurately capture new network assets, update existing infrastructure, and retire abandoned or removed assets within GIS systems (Locusview).
• Validate and correct existing gas service data where location or attribute information is inaccurate.
• Support ongoing system updates to ensure data integrity across the network.
• Perform ad hoc updates and tasks (e.g., leak repair documentation updates) as directed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

• Familiarity with gas distribution systems or infrastructure data
