Job summary
The State of Missouri, Office of Administration ITSD, is seeking a Geographic Information Systems Developer in Chesterfield, MO to maintain and enhance its ArcGIS Enterprise and Geodatabase infrastructure. You will deploy, upgrade, and manage ArcGIS components and develop GIS tooling to support agency missions.
The role requires strong GIS/IT knowledge, experience with Esri technologies, scripting in Python, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Occasional after-hours work may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Environmental Science/Geology, or closely related field with strong GIS/IT emphasis.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and extensions (Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst, 3D Analyst, Geostatistical Analyst).
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise System, ArcGIS Servers, ArcGIS Monitor.
Responsibilities
- Consult and closely work with GIS Team Manager to evaluate and plan GIS needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and deploy ArcGIS Enterprise, maintenance, upgrades.
- Develop policies for GIS Enterprise and database usage.
- Automate server upgrade processes and monitor services.
- Develop Python tools/scripts; troubleshoot complex GIS issues.
