Job summary

Esri in Redlands, CA is seeking a software tester to design and automate tests for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise, focusing on data management services such as Geodatabase and related servers.

You will collaborate with engineers and product teams to identify quality issues, stress tests, and contribute to release readiness while learning ArcGIS platform internals. This role offers growth opportunities and a meaningful impact on GIS software used worldwide.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related software testing experience.
• Experience using an application development language, such as C#, Java or Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and author test cases with a team of engineers.
• Test ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise functionality related to Data Management.
• Assess product quality and release readiness.
• Identify and troubleshoot product issues and limitations.
• Learn existing product technologies and debug across versions.
• Test software components via the user interface and provide feedback on user experience.
