Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Software Developer with a Secret security clearance to support KITS at Stennis Space Center, MS. Join a dynamic team focused on geospatial software solutions using ESRI ArcGIS and CJMTK.

Responsibilities include design, development, testing, and optimization of GIS applications, with on-site work at Stennis Space Center, MS. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience are required, along with strong Java/Python/C++

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Development, GIS, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience with GIS software development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications.
• Develop and maintain GIS applications using ESRI technologies.
• Collaborate with team members on software design and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Document technical specifications and maintain software documentation.
• Participate in Agile development processes including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain geospatial databases and services.
