Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a Software Developer with a Secret security clearance to support KITS and our government customer at Stennis Space Center, MS. The role focuses on geospatial applications and ESRI GIS technologies within a dynamic development team.

You will contribute to full software development lifecycle, design, code, test, and optimize GIS solutions, collaborate in Agile sprints, and ensure security and scalable performance while working on-site at Stennis Space Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience with GIS software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications.
• Develop and maintain GIS applications using ESRI technologies.
• Collaborate with team members on software design and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Document technical specifications and maintain software documentation.
• Participate in Agile development processes including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain geospatial databases and services.
