Job summary

Livingston County is seeking a Business Support Mapping Technician to help with IT business support duties and GIS mapping across county data. Under the CIO, you will maintain the GIS address database and act as addressing official, while performing ERP data entry, procurement and vendor management, and IT service desk support.

You will also prepare reports, manage invoices, and generate monthly GIS maps for county offices and external agencies, contributing to efficient services for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with GIS coursework.
• Knowledge of GIS addressing and house/business numbering.
• Ability to assemble data and prepare reports.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience with office equipment and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the county's GIS addressing database.
• Perform ERP data entry and analysis for IT budgeting.
• Provide IT customer support and service desk functions.
• Prepare information for external agencies and County departments.
• Produce and plot monthly GIS maps for various offices and clients.
• Assist in procurement processes and vendor management.
• Process invoices for entry into ERP system and manage budgeting reports.
• Responsible for county auction item preparation and invoicing.
