Job summary

The City of Kirkland IT Department is seeking an IT Supervisor - GIS to lead the GIS team, oversee enterprise GIS platforms, spatial databases, and GIS-enabled applications, while performing advanced hands-on work.

Ideal candidates bring strong experience in designing and managing spatial systems, administering geodatabases, developing GIS applications, and integrating GIS with other business systems using Esri software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Geography or related field.
• 5+ years of GIS management experience.
• Combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise IT personnel, manage performance and evaluations.
• Develop and maintain annual IT work plan for the team.
• Triage incidents and ensure timely service delivery.
• Oversee licensing, vendor contracts and system lifecycle.
