Qualifications

• Knowledge of GIS principles, data management and enterprise GIS environments.
• Understanding of data governance concepts including stewardship, lifecycle, metadata, and data quality.
• Ability to manage complex projects, engage stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Skills in research, analytical thinking, workflow documentation, and process design.
• Strong communication abilities, including writing governance documents and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation related to GIS governance.
• Facilitate cross-department coordination to ensure consistent governance adoption.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for leadership and governance committees.
• Support enterprise GIS strategic planning and continuous improvement activities.
