Sampson County is seeking a detail-oriented GIS Technician to maintain and update the County's parcel data. This position works closely with the GIS Coordinator and is primarily responsible for ensuring that parcel maps accurately reflect recorded property changes.
This is a full-time, on-site role at the GIS office with no remote work available. The appointee will use ArcGIS Pro and related GIS software to ensure data integrity and support county departments with mapping inquiries.
GRADE: 65
SALARY: Begins at $39,648 with comprehensive benefits package

Tax mapping or property mapping experience is preferred, but candidates with related GIS, surveying, or land records experience who are willing to learn will be considered.
