Duties:This GIS Engineer will Administer and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, databases) for high availability, performance, and security in order to evaluate trade area demographics, and store characteristics. This will include managing upgrades, patching, and versions for ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and related GIS infrastructure; serving as Portal Admin: manage users/roles/groups, licensing/permissions, and secure access to enterprise geodatabases and servicesYou will identify location-based factors that influence store success and deliver spatial insights to support Research and Real Estate teams and participate in various stages of the new store approval process including ad-hoc spatial analysis using ArcGIS and related tools to answer location-based questions from Executives. You will also collaborate with functional teams using GIS technologies and spatial data analysis to uncover insights that guide strategic business decisions, integrating maps and dashboards into presentations and planning; create and manage GIS dashboards, custom maps, and spatial visualizations that communicate geographic trends, site characteristics, and key business metrics; and assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new spatial data sources and geocoding methods. Additional responsibilities include developing custom workflows using Alteryx and ArcGIS and related technologies to analyze large, complex spatial datasets across business functions; publishing, configuring, tuning, and maintaining hosted/referenced feature, map, and geoprocessing services across their lifecycle; designing, developing, and maintaining web apps, dashboards, Survey123 forms, and custom GIS solutions supporting Research, Real Estate, and Operations; and monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and automated workflows (ArcGIS, Alteryx, Python/ArcPy) to ensure data quality and system stability. Additionally, you will partner with IT, cloud, and DB teams on infrastructure planning, backups, DR, and security compliance for geospatial systems and supervise and provide technical leadership to a GIS Analyst, including workload prioritization and quality assurance of deliverables.
